And so it started… by ScottyD

My first few posts, in celebration of my this new BLOG I’ve started, will focus on the beginnings.

-Everything we do in life, everything we think about, and everything involving anything has a beginning, a source.

Who are you?  What kind of person are you?  Lets talk today about one major influence on who we are now: our parents and their methods of raising.  No one agrees with their all of their parents’ methods and ways of doing things, but they hopefully did more things right than they did wrong.  Now, I am not a parent or intend to be soon, but I think it is an important thing for one to look at in order to have solid goals when it comes to raising a kid.  Did you know only 5% of people in America have goals actually written down somewhere?  Sure it’s great to think about them and have a general idea of what you want and how to accomplish it, but unless you actually sit down and write out them it’s much less likely to happen.   Now back to my original point:  Your parents did things right and they did things wrong…

On my next blog I will be writing out a list of the positives and how it has positively affected me in my life…there is WAY too much negativity out in the world today if you ask me.  You should do the same: give me a list of what you agreed or liked and how it has positively affected you today.

You can call me ScottyD.  I’ll tty in a few!

Note:  I really want these to be open forum for discussion and learning.  Share your perspective and points of view on topics.  It’s one of the best ways to learn.
